Charging times A wall box or public charger will replenish the Born’s 58kW battery from 0% to 100% in six hours and 15 minutes. Using a rapid DC charger, a top up from 5% to 80% takes just 35 minutes.
Heating up The CUPRA Born is heated using a high pressure heat pump system, which uses less energy and helps to optimise the vehicle’s range.
Exterior This all-electric hot hatch is striking to behold. The car’s front fascia alone is attention-grabbing, with its dramatically sloping bonnet, ultra-slim and angled LED headlights, expansive bumper intakes and prominent mesh-design lower grille. The CUPRA Born rides on 18-inch alloy wheels as standard, each sporting a distinctive ‘Cyclone’ design.
